Steps (F2) lost in 33, no problems in older versions

Added by Rosskopf Elena almost 6 years ago

Hello guys,

I hope anyone can help me, because I can’t find a solution. The newest ST 33 version is closing the step window shortly (1 second) after launching.
I press F2, all other possible “Step” buttons and it looks like the Step window is appearing (because the other ST window task row becomes grey) but I can’t see it and I don’t know what to do now.

All other versions including the 32 beta are showing the Steps correctly.

Computer Information:
Windows 7 Enterprise,
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9950 @ 2.83 GHz
16 GB RAM
64 Bit

Can anyone help me? Do I need to update any other Software for ST33?

Thank you

Hi,

The Steps window seems to be located outside of the screen. To show it, first press F2 to make it visible outside of the screen (remember that F2 toggles the visibility, so if it was visible, pressing F2 will hide it). Now, hold down the ALT key and press space bar. This will bring up a context menu for the Steps window (probably at the right side of your screen). Select “Move” and the press one of the arrow keys on your keyboard. After this, move your mouse cursor and the window should be visible.

Best regards,
Gustaf

Hi

thanks for posting the solution which I did not know my self. I have 3 screens indeed and will try to take care that before I release I put every Dialog in the main Window.
