CloudCompare cannot load LAS file exported from Computree
I am going to use Computree for my research and installed computree 4 for windows 10 (64). I have ground lidar dataset with volume of ~ 300 mb. I removed the noises from the point cloud with `euclidean clustering denoising`, and now I would like to see the result in CloudCompare as it seems visualization of big volume of point cloud is not perfect. I exported the result into LAS format using `Point, LAS`. However I couldn’t load it in CloudCompare, it gives error `Liblas exception: invalid point data format`. I tried to read the LAS file in PDAL and got error `(pdal info readers.las Error) Invalid SRS specification`.
Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong.

If you don’t have a special need for .las file format, try using a generic Ascii for your export. The issue with this solution is that the interpretation can be very slow due file sizes that can be realy large even for small amounts of data. And more than this, take into account that all specific information like intensity will be lost.

The best way would be to use Computree v5, where we have reworked las format export.
The v5 release should come soon, however I’m missing needed time for this.
I really hope to be able to do it this summer.
In the meantime, I’ve open public access to the beta version section, where I regularly put last Windows 64bits compiled version :
Note that it’s beta, so it can have problems for a given version.
Documentation will come with release.

Thank you very much for quick response. I installed computree 5, and I have no problem with visualization of point cloud now.
Hopefully export to LAS format will also be solved soon.
